I HAD SO MUCH FUN!!!! This was one of the best costume design jobs I have had in a long time! Tleko tleko Darrell Dennis and Katya Gardner for trusting me to design these characters! It was a beautiful challenge, one I believe, we all rose to this challenge! Ask any one of the crew on this one, we all LOOOOVEED it!
The thread was flying at one point I think!! Was quite the design creation of making regalia and have it work with what we were going to do! Well, Tatyana Baptiste had to do all that dance work!
Then came the SUPERHERO!!! I won’t give to much away, but had so much fun working with Tyler Peters again and we both LOVED creating this characters looks! And then we have one of my favourites, Joshua Odjick. We had fun with this one! We would high-five daily. I asked Josh to participate in the work, the character was a designer, so he helped me with a few of the pieces. We both made the hairpiece prop.
Oh man, then……THEN!! Graham Greene!!!! I legit cannot gush more over the fact I got to hang out with this man for a week. He is so funny and a wonderful human. Quite the artist! I just loved making his costumes come to life.
