These are the kind of movies that you have to do. Films that tell our stories as Indigenous. I am so proud to be a part of this creative team. I am blessed to be one of the Producers. I am honoured to be working alongside Grace Dove, helping her and her vision as Director. I am thankful to have the trust of Writer/Producers Christopher Logan and Kiri Geen to have me at the Costume Designer.
This story is powerful. It has a pulse. It kept growing with each script edit, gaining momentum. I was challenged with 2 major costumes. And I know I met the challenge. I love what I made. It was fun working with Nathaniel and helping him get to where he wanted in the character. And I cried when I saw our lead in her costume.
This is where I am supposed to be.
