Native art added to a beautiful denim jacket. The denim is beautifully constructed, I love the jacket itself. I added my father’s artwork, from a his print, The Gathering. The serpent around a harpoon is from my Dad’s print, Not A Good Day. I’ve always loved that print and I had so much fun wrapping the serpent around into the arm. I then added the fringe as a representation of our shawls, I love the swing of our shawls and when the dancers all get into unison, how beautifully in sync it can be, as one, as a family, together. Then I had to add the swarovski crystals to mimic the whale bubbles from the whale the serpent is chasing in the print.
