I costume designed 21 drama sequences for this APTN/ZDF 8 x one-hour docudrama series based on the best-selling book by Charles C. Mann. The scenes are set in pre-contact Americas and shot in Peru, Mexico, USA and Canada in 2015.

Thursday, June 25, 2009: I will always remember the day Michael Jackson died. I was working with a fellow designer on a belt for the This Is It Tour and was scheduled for a fitting on that fateful day. BET contacted me to recreate his iconic pieces for their show on Sunday. Things went into full swing at 2:30 pm.
Friday, June 26, 2009: The zipper jacket is being created. The Remember the Time gold pieces are being constructed.
Saturday, June 27, 2009: The zipper jacket is done. The Remember the time outfit is being cut out.
Sunday, June 28, 2009: BET Award Show – live-television, LA Coliseum. The sequin socks are being finished, and the gold-lamé body suit is being constructed. Jamie Foxx’s suit gets altered minutes before he goes on-stage with Janet Jackson.
I recreated of the infamous zipper jacket, The Remember The Time video costume, the Billy Jean sequin slouch socks and tailoring a suit for host, Jamie Foxx. I made all these pieces in 3 days. It was exhausting, it was exhilarating, it was an honour.
Costume Designer Warden Neil partnered with Carmen Thompson to recreate the Highschool Musical costumes for live performance during the Teen Choice Award show in Los Angeles, CA. Carmen also did the alterations and tailoring for the Jonas Brothers.
